David William Ferrie (March 28, 1918 - February 22, 1967) was a private investigator and pilot who allegedly claimed to have been involved in a conspiracy to assassinate President John F. Kennedy and who was later claimed by New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison to have been proven involvement and that he knew Lee Harvey Oswald.
