Darrelle Shavar Revis (born July 14, 1985, in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania), is an American football cornerback for the New York Jets of the National Football League. Revis was drafted in the first round (14th overall) by the Jets in the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Pittsburgh. Currently regarded as the best cornerback in the NFL, his spot on the field is nicknamed "Revis Island" for his ability to play one-on-one with opposing receivers.
