The Circus Starring Britney Spears

The Circus Starring Britney Spears, commonly referred to as The Circus Tour, was the sixth concert tour by American singer Britney Spears, in support of her sixth studio album Circus. It was her first world tour in five years, following The Onyx Hotel Tour in 2004 and visited North America, Europe and Australia. The tour marked the first time Spears toured in Australia and Russia. Jamie King was chosen as creative director, while Simon Ellis served as musical director. The stage was designed by Road Rage and built by Tait Towers. It was made up of three rings and set in-the-round to resemble an actual circus. The sound and lightning was provided by Solotech. Fashion designers Dean and Dan Caten created the costumes, with the ensembles of the first act designed to represent a metamorphosis. The setlist was composed mostly from her last three studio albums. Magician Ed Alonzo joined Spears during the second act.
