Associazione Sportiva Roma, (, 0DMN) commonly referred to as simply Roma, is an Italian professional football club from Rome. Founded by a merger in 1927, Roma have participated in the top-tier of Italian football for all of their existence bar one season in the early 50s (1951-52). For their 58th season in a row (77th overall), Roma are competing in Serie A for 2009–10.
