Highlander: The Game is an upcoming action role-playing game based on the Highlander franchise and will be published by Square Enix for Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. It was announced on January 14, 2008 by way of a trailer on Gametrailers.com. It was originally scheduled to be released on March 30, 2009, but has been postponed indefinitely; despite online retail outlets such as walmart.com and Amazon.com claiming to know when it will be out, no official release date has been given.
